Weather bureau forecasts strong wind, blowing dust

Fresh to strong northerly winds are expected to sweep across the country starting from Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, and persisting throughout the weekend, the Qatar Meteorology Department has said.

The winds are anticipated to bring blowing dust, impacting the visibility levels.

The marine warning issued by the Meteorology Department highlights the possibility of wave heights ranging between 4 to 8 feet, with occasional peaks reaching up to 12 feet.

The temperature forecast for May 8 indicates a range between 29°C and 36°C, with daytime weather conditions expected to be hot with scattered clouds.
