Qatar PM named among 100 most influential people by Time magazine

DOHA: The Time magazine has selected H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, among the 100 most influential people in the world for the current year 2024.

Among other things, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister has received the coveted honour for his mediation in the Gaza war which led to a ceasefire and the release of several hostages.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman’s name appears in the category of Leaders in the Time list.

The magazine said that even before Oct. 7, the 43-year-old Premier had impressed US officials as go-­between in other trouble spots.
