Eid Al Fitr in Qatar on Wednesday, April 10: Ministry of Awqaf

Doha: The Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has announced that Wednesday, April 10, 2024, will be the first day of the blessed Eid Al Fitr in Qatar.

Tuesday, April 9, 2024, will be the last day of the holy month of Ramadan.

The announcement came as Shawaal crescent was not sighted in Qatar on Monday.

Qatar Calendar House had earlier announced that Wednesday would be the first day of Eid Al Fitr as the crescent of the month of Shawwal will be born on Monday evening, corresponding to April 8, 2024, (the Crescent sighting day), at 9:22 pm, Doha local time.
