Qatari sponsors 1,300 orphans under Qatar Charity’s Sponsor Orphans initiative

Campaign was launched during the first 10 days of Ramadan

DOHA: A Qatari citizen has sponsored 1,300 orphans at once under a campaign launched by Qatar Charity to sponsor 5,000 orphans. In a statement, Qatar Charity thanked all the honourable donors for their contributions to the campaign, and especially one of the donors, a Qatari citizen, who sponsored 1,300 orphans. Qatar Charity praised the great support it received from good people in Qatar, Al Sharq has reported.  

The ‘Sponsor 5,000 Orphans’ campaign was launched during the first ten days of the holy month of Ramadan within the framework of Qatar Charity’s Ramadan campaign.

The campaign produced a huge reaction from the public, and the number of donors and contributions exceeded the target number of the campaign which was 5,000 orphans.

The campaign came under the slogan “Include me in your family” and aimed to call on families in Qatar to sponsor one or more orphans and consider them as a son or daughter of their family in terms of attention and care, and to provide them with a decent life after they lost the warmth of fatherhood, especially since the disasters and crises in recent years have increased the need for orphanages.

This visit left a good impression on the hearts of the orphan children, and they expressed their happiness and thanks to the good people in Qatar for their continued care and support.
