Qatar participates in 27th Dubai International Holy Quran Award

Dubai: The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, is participating in the 27th Dubai International Holy Quran Award, currently held in Dubai.

Faraj Saleh Al Otaibi heads the Qatari delegation to the event that runs from the 1st until the 14th day of the holy month of Ramadan.

Hamad Abdullah Tayes Al Jumaili from the Ministry of Awqaf’s Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance is participating in the Quran memorization competition.

The Ministry of Awqaf is keen to take part in international Holy Qur’an competitions thanks to Qatari youths’ interest in memorizing and reciting the holy Qur’an.
