Qatar Scholarship Program offers 100 new scholarships

Scholarships given to young people between the ages of 17 and 25, who have spent most of their lives in Qatar.

DOHA: The Education Above All Foundation and the General Administration of Endowments, affiliated with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, celebrated honouring outstanding students in the Qatar Scholarship Program, and welcoming new beneficiaries, as it was celebrated by offering more than 100 scholarships and graduating 36 graduates, and honouring 57 students for their excellence in academic performance for the academic year 2023-2024.

The event saw the representatives of partner organizations and universities, a number of ambassadors, and more than 300 participants including students, their parents, and faculty members at local universities.

The Qatar Scholarship Program provides scholarships to young people between the ages of 17 and 25, who have spent most of their lives in Qatar to complete their higher education at Doha-based universities.

The programme is implemented by the Education Above All Foundation, with support from the Endowment Bank for scientific and cultural development at the General Administration of Endowments, beneficiaries are also supported to enroll in universities in the country.

Education Above All Foundation also cooperates with Silatech Foundation to connect graduates with employment, ensuring a smooth transition to their careers.

Fahd bin Hamad Al Sulaiti, CEO of the Education Above All Foundation, expressed his happiness at this celebratory meeting, which highlights the achievements achieved within the framework of the Qatar Scholarship Programme, which reflects joint efforts towards promoting higher education and supporting youth in the country.

He stressed that the Education Above All Foundation tirelessly continues its noble endeavors to achieve its vision of making higher education available to every young man and woman, especially the most deprived of them, to be future leaders and builders of a bright tomorrow. He explained that the Qatar Scholarship Program provides scholarships to young people between 17 and 25 years old, and have spent most of their lives in Qatar completing their higher education at Doha-based universities.
