Classic car parade at Katara dazzles spectators

Not only classic cars, modern luxury cars as well as modern motorcycles wow visitors.

Doha; The Katara Cultural Village witnessed a Ramadan rally for classic cars organized by a large number of car enthusiasts, Al Raya reports.

The oldest cars and motorcycles on display attracted many visitors, especially photography and classic car enthusiasts.
Classic car parades are organized in the Katara Cultural Village before iftar time, with car owners communicating with each other through groups on the WhatsApp to organize gatherings in designated areas, whether in Katara or in any other area.
The parade saw the display of dazzling classic cars, in addition to motorcycles, and many car owners were keen to take their children with them to enjoy the event and take souvenir photos.

Muhammad Al-Tajer said: “I was keen to come to see the classic cars that I love so much. I also love photography, and attendees at such events find an opportunity to practice their talent and take wonderful souvenir photos of such rare cars.”
Abdulaziz Salem pointed out that he attended the event for the first time, expressing his great admiration for the rare cars that he saw during the event, which brought together unique and antique types of cars dating back many decades.

brahim Al Kaabi explained that he is keen to participate in such events that bring together classic car owners in various events throughout the year, including these gatherings that occur during the month of Ramadan, specifically before breakfast.
He pointed out that coordination takes place between car owners through groups on WhatsApp, explaining that one of these groups has more than 300 members, who own many of these cars, explaining that acquiring old cars is a hobby for many Qataris.

Classic car parades in Katara are considered an old custom, and have witnessed a noticeable growth in recent years, in terms of types of cars and interest in them, as well as motorcycles, in addition to the presence of photography enthusiasts to monitor these events.
Mubarak Al-Mana said: “The Katara Cultural Village has become a destination for classic car owners, as well as for photography and video enthusiasts.”

He pointed out that the parade is not limited only to old cars, but also modern luxury cars, as well as modern motorcycles.
