Doha: The glory of Malappuram district in Kerala needs to be highlighted in the current situation of India, E T Muhammed Basheer, India’s Member of Parliament, has said.
He was talking at the concluding ceremony of Malappuram Peruma Season 05, organized by the Malappuram district committee of Qatar KMCC.
Incas President Hyder Chungathara, Ali International Operations Manager Noufal Easa, KMCC Advisory Board Vice-Chairman S.A.M. Basheer, Abdul Nasser Nachi, C.V. Khalid, P.V. Muhammed Moulavi, State Acting General Secretary Ashraf Aralam, Treasurer P.S.M. Hussain, Vice-President Siddique Vazhakkad and others participated in the event.
KMCC State President Dr. Abdussamad inaugurated the session, and District President Savad Veliyamkode presided over the function. Speaking at the event, CMP State General Secretary CP John stated that if the charitable activities and assistance provided by the KMCC were accurately documented, it could be recognized as an NGO by the United Nations.
Muslim League State Secretary KM Shaji delivered the keynote address.
Renowned Mappilapadu singer Rehana, Sayyid Mashud Thangal, Riyaz Kariyad, Sivapriya, and others led the Ishal Peruma.
