Doha: The annual general body meeting of the Qatar Samanwaya Kalarikkel Family Association was held at Ain Khalid, Doha.
Secretary Suresh Babu welcomed the meeting and President Muralidas presided. The meeting unanimously elected new office-bearers and executive members for 2024-25 under the supervision of Founder Member Arun K. Saras.
Vijayakumar Kalarikkel was elected President, Ranjith Devdas as Secretary, Sreekumar as Treasurer, Prasoon as Vice President, Harikrishnan as Joint Secretary, Pradeep Kumar as Media Coordinator, Prakash Kalarikkel as Program Coordinator, and Arun K. Saras, Suresh Babu, Unni Kondotti, Shine Kumar, Gopalakrishnan, Suneesh, Udheesh and Vidya Arun as committee members.
Prakash KalarikKal moderated the art programmes held on the occasion. Ranjith Devdas led the Samanwaya Singers while new singers Chitra Harikrishnan, Master Anirudh Arun, Abhilash and Raju Kalarikal joined the stage with Hindi and Tamil songs. The performances ended on a grand note with Shine Kumar reciting his poem and Prajith performing mimicry.
