Weather forecast says blowing dust and cold nights will continue

Doha: Qatar will continue to experience blowing dust and relatively cold nights this week, weather forecasts say.

The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said in its latest forecast that strong northwesterly wind will continue at a speed exceeding 26 knots in some areas, causing dust storm in some areas. 

On Tuesday, the temperature in Doha is expected to range between 17°C and 25°C. 

“It will be mild to relatively cold daytime with some clouds, and slight dust to blowing dust at places at times, and is cold by night,” QMD posted on its social media accounts.

The weather bureau also said wave heights will reach 14 ft at times, and issued a marine warning and urged the public to avoid venturing into the sea.
