SIS holds Investiture Ceremony for Student Council 2025–26

DOHA: The Investiture Ceremony for the newly elected Student Council of Shantiniketan Indian School for the academic year 2025–2026 was held on April 24.
The ceremony was presided over by Rasheed Ahamed, President of the SIS Managing Committee, who inspired the young leaders to embrace their new roles with sincerity and to let the core values of SIS guide their actions and decisions.
During the ceremony, Mr. Rasheed Ahamed proudly conferred the badges of office, formally inducting the Student Council members into their respective leadership positions.
The council for the session 2025–26 comprises: Salman Mohamed – School Ambassador; Rayyan Najim – Head Boy; Maisa Mansoor – Head Girl; Nizar Mohammed Rizlan – IT Secretary; Nyla Fathima – Literary Secretary; Nazli Abdul Lathief – Cultural Secretary; Ladan Elfatih – Sports Captain; Ahmad Sameh – Head Prefect (Boys); Sanvi Navas – Head Prefect (Girls); Muhammed Rikhas – Assistant IT Secretary; Rifa Mohammed Rafi – Assistant Literary Secretary; Monisha Angelin Ananth – Assistant Cultural Secretary; Amin Sabak – Assistant Sports Captain; Asheeqa Hiba – Ruby House Captain; Dana Saber – Sapphire House Captain; Farsana Noushad Sini – Emerald House Captain; and Muflih Hadi – Topaz House Captain
Principal Rafeeq Rahim entrusted the school flag to the newly elected Head Boy and Head Girl, representing the handing over of responsibility and leadership. Vice Principal Sujith Kumar extended a heartfelt welcome to the dignitaries, students, staff, and parents of the newly elected council members, acknowledging the importance of the occasion.
