366 whale sharks spotted in Qatari waters by marine scientists

The marine scientific team of the Wildlife Development Department, in cooperation with the Marine Protection Department, monitored a gathering of whale sharks in Qatari territorial waters.

Their number reached more than 366, as Qatari waters witness the largest concentration of these creatures in the region and the world. The scientific team documented this gathering through an aerial photograph, while monitoring it for the purpose of study.
