Kodiyathoor Panchayath won the overall title by scoring 58 points in the 10th Chaliyar Sports Fest organised by Chaliyar Doha.
Kizhuparamb Panchayath secured the second position by scoring 55 points and Feroke Panchayath secured the third position by scoring 37 points. Cheekode and Kadalundi shared the fourth position with 22 points each.
Kodiyathoor Panchayath won the first position in the March Past, while Feroke Panchayath got the second position and Vazhayur got the third position. In the fives football final, Cheekode and Kodiyathoor were tied with one goal each and Kodiyathoor defeated Cheekod 3-1 in the penalty shootout to become the football champions. Urangattiri Panchayath and Cheekode Panchayath shared the third position.
In the women’s shootout competition, Keezhuparamb won the first position, Kodiyathoor won the second position and Feroke the third position. In the men’s 4×100 meter relay race, Kizhuparamb Panchayath won the first position, while Feroke and Mampad secured second and third position respectively. Overall champions were also determined based on points secured for individual events including basketball throw ball on stumps, running race, long jump, men’s arm wrestling and swimming.
